The Kitchen & Utility Room - new for 2026!
We had a new kitchen fitted in Jan/Feb 2026, making space to bring the fridge freezer in from the utility room, and re-using some of the old kitchen in the utility room to make it far more functional!

The kitchen has an electric hob, electric double oven and a dishwasher. The breakfast bar has three bar stools, with views across open fields. The adjoining utility room has another sink and worktop area and houses our washing machine, and tumble dryer.

We have a tall fixed stairgate on the kitchen doorway so you can confine dogs if you wish, without having to shut the door. And also keep dogs and toddlers out from under your feet when cooking!
Our fridge freezer was new for 2025 and is very tall, with a 50/50 split!

Kitchens are important! Maybe it's just us, but when we go to a new place we often end up taking half our kitchen with us - just in case!
Although we had to sacrifice a couple of cupboards to bring the fridge freezer in, we raised the wall units a little to fit a shelf in underneath to provide extra storage for guests. The corner wall unit is also empty, ready for your food!
